In 2017, a local dealership approached iDEALER founder, Sergey Nekipelov, to develop a technology that serves to eliminate human error from the courtesy shuttle service operation. By late 2018, the first version of iDEALER Shuttle Management System was launched for production, serving as a learning base for iDEALER Ai to deliver the required automation related to routing, dispatching, proactive notification and the user experience.
The most complex part of the platform is it's artificial intellegence designed to automate tasks that were prior performed manually by dealership employees with high precision and in real time. The function of the Ai is not limited to drivers' routing and dispatching, but to the changes that are initiated by the dealership or it's customers, resulting in the extensive list of actions to execute. Every dealership is different and Ai is custom-tailered to each operation.
Social distancing has forced many dealerships to pause shuttle service, but iDEALER team identified oportunities for the much needed products and continued its product expansion which resulted in Valet Service and the Parts Runs modules.
